I am Tom Kitt; the business I started back in 1998 is the Camillus Kayak Shop. When Rick Phillips started his web design business he offered to create a site for my shop. Since I had tried doing it myself and became frustrated with the process, I was happy to have Rick assume the task. Not only did he exceed my expectations by leaps and bounds, he kept in touch with me to make sure I was pleased with the site as it progressed into what it is today - a truly informational picture of my shop and all the various kayaks I sell. The information needs to be updated as new boats arrive and Rick is quick to work with the actual manufacturers to make sure the boats are well-represented. He can be reached at his home office at practically any hour, and responds immmediately to changes in hours, special sales, products - he has enhanced the site immensely and he also has worked with various search engines to make sure the shop comes up on the first page of their browsers!  Rick truly goes above and beyond to please, and he is a true professional.

Rick Phillps is a total professional and a pleasure to work with, as he is so easily accessible. In my position approximately 150 business people depend on me to keep their information current on our website. Since Rick took over the Chamber website and completely revamped it, members have been impressed at the speed their changes are recorded, and new members added.  Rick added numerous enhancements to the site that make it easy to navigate and find the information visitors are looking for. He added the credit card function by working solely with the merchant service provider, and he has vastly improved the images by working closely with the Chamber photographer. He acts quickly on every request and any problems arise he takes care of them immediately.  When I decided to have my own website design, my first thoughts were directed to
“Rick Web Design” services. I had heard wonderful things about his previous site dealings and immediately gave him a call. Because of my previous dealings with hosted websites, I know, and he soon realized, it was going to be a big undertaking for both of us: implementing all that I needed to be implemented.  He did not hesitate at all and jumped right in to it.                        He has always been willing, extremely helpful and eager to tackle situations as they arouse. Working though glitches and unforeseen situations with hours of intense determination and desire to make things function properly. We both learned and realized, that even though it looked and operated correctly for us, that we had to step back and remember that there are larger population that we had to consider in making it perform in a “consumer friendly” manner. He, also, has been extremely open to all my questions, requests or suggestions on a moments notice and thus follows though with me thereafter: Extremely consciences.
